Capturing Love, Laughter & A Little Tulle: A Downtown Knoxville After-Wedding Stroll

Okay, so imagine this: the most effortlessly cool couple you’ve ever seen, casually strolling through downtown Knoxville, hand in hand, with that soft winter light catching just right. The streets were decked out for the holidays, the Tennessee Theatre sign was glowing like a movie set, and these two looked like they belonged in the final scene of a feel-good rom-com. Honestly? Unreal.
They had just tied the knot, and were in town for a Christmas concert (10/10 festive vibes), so naturally—they turned it into a chance for a laid-back, after-wedding photo sesh. No pressure, no schedule. Just them, a city full of charm, and a lot of love still radiating off them like glitter.
And listen, I have to talk about her dress for a second. That mini with the sheer tulle overlay? Obsessed. It floated behind her like something out of a dream—romantic, modern, and a little bit rebellious. Like if Audrey Hepburn and street-style fashion week had a baby. And paired with black ankle boots? That combo was giving “cool-girl bride takes Manhattan,” and I was fully here for it.
This is why I love after-wedding sessions. They’re slower. Softer. More “us” and less “to-do list.” It’s just about being together, laughing at inside jokes, sneaking kisses between crosswalks, and making space for joy. Oh—and waving at the occasional stranger yelling “congrats!” from their car. (Iconic. And it happens every time!)
So here’s your reminder: just because the big day is over doesn’t mean the magic stops. Make time for the little chapters, too. They’re often the ones you’ll treasure the most.
